A few friends and I spent two nights and three days at beautiful spot in the Tucannon Campground. It had been a lot of fun. The spots were well maintained with fire bowls and picknick tables. 4 of the spots are close to the river with quick access. The river was perfect for taking a refreshing dip for cooling removed from the 90 degree heat. The increase towards the campground shows an area that was recently in the last couple years hit be wild fires. The mountain sides were bare with only underbrush beginning to grow back. As we got closer to the campgrounds the trees and vegitation seemed to be unharmed. The campground itself appeared to be unharmed. This campground is great since there are a lot of things to do in the area from camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, or simply enjoying nature. I would suggest this campground to anyone who loves the outdoors.
